Description
PSPC, on behalf of ECCC, is issuing this second Request for Information (RFI) to seek feedback from industry on the planned procurement documentation for the CATS Renewal requirement. This RFI is intended to support the development of a fair, open, and competitive solicitation process by obtaining supplier input on the draft procurement documents before the formal Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued. CATS is a online tracking system which Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) requires to support the federal Output Based Pricing System (OBPS) established under the Greenhouse Gas Pollution Pricing Act (GGPPA), and an online registration, reporting and tracking system to support the Greenhouse Gas Offset Credit System (Offsets) and Clean Fuel Regulations (CFR) established under the GGPPA and the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999 (CEPA), respectively.
