Description
1. Allgemeine Beschreibung: Die Universität Duisburg-Essen erforscht Materialien, Halbleitertechnologien und Modulintegration für Anwendungen in der Höchstfrequenzelektronik und in der Optoelektronik. Zur Durchführung der Forschungsarbeiten wird eine durchgängige Prozesslinie in einem Reinraum bis Klasse 5 (ISO 14644-1) betrieben. Zur Herstellung von III-Nitrid Halbleiter Bauelementen muss die vorhandene Anlage zur metallorganischen Gasphasenepitaxie (MOVPE) der Firma Aixtron (Seriennummer CS17580) für aktuelle und kommende Forschungsprojekte teilweise erneuert und erweitert werden. Erneuert werden folgende Komponenten: - Die Prozesspumpe - Der Showerhead Gaseinlass - 4x Rückschlagventile Die Erweiterung umfasst Leitungen für die Quellmaterialien Triethylboran und Ethen, welche in die Anlage integriert werden müssen.
