Steeton with Eastburn Parish Council ("The Council") invites fixed-price quotations for the reconstruction and resurfacing of the perimeter walkway surrounding Steeton Crown Green Bowling Green ("Bowling Green"). The Council's objective is to create a safe, accessible and long-lasting pedestrian route for bowlers, officials, spectators, visitors and members of the wider community. The project comprises an approximately 152-linear-metre perimeter route, with existing walkway widths varying from approximately 1.26 metres to 1.85 metres and an indicative total surface area of approximately 215 square metres. The works are expected to include: • removal of defective tarmac, all edging and unsuitable foundation material where required; • reconstruction of approximately 142.5 linear metres of concrete perimeter edging, including suitable steel reinforcement and stabilising pins; • incorporation of approximately 9.5 linear metres of previously reconstructed edging and walkway; • formation of…
