Stad Hasselt is een publieke organisatie met meerdere entiteiten, waaronder Stad Hasselt zelf, OCMW Hasselt, AGB Stadsontwikkeling Hasselt en NV Crematorium. Er werken ongeveer 1.800 medewerkers voor Stad Hasselt. We bieden een zeer diverse interne en externe dienstverlening aan die zeer uiteenlopende documentenstromen creëert met een eigen finaliteit. De organisatie wil evolueren van een versnipperde, weinig gestructureerde en historisch gegroeide informatiehuishouding – verspreid over fileservers en onderdelen van O365 – naar een toekomstgericht, uniform en werkbaar informatiebeheer. Een informatiebeheer dat de dienstverlening ondersteunt en voldoet aan wettelijke verplichtingen zoals openbaarheid van bestuur, bewaartermijnen, archivering en gegevensbescherming.
