Description
Er is een groeiende populatie van patiënten met een cardiac implantable electronic device (CIED), zoals pacemakers, defibrillatoren en loop recorders. De medische en technische opvolging van deze patiënten en toestellen vergt een goede structurele dataverzameling. Ook de wettelijk bepaalde oprichting van de contactpunten materiovigilantie (KB15/11/2017) binnen de zorginstellingen vraagt daarnaast een goede opvolging van alle incidenten met deze implantaten. De opvolging van deze toestellen verschuift meer en meer naar een telecardiologische opvolging op afstand, waardoor er goede documentatie van het dataverkeer en medische acties nodig is. Momenteel is er binnen het KWS geen structurele dataopslag en workflow van deze informatie van patiënten met een CIED voorzien. Met NexuzHealth loopt een project waarbij een structureel CIED-dossier binnen het KWS wordt ontworpen dat binnen verschillende ziekenhuizen kan gebruikt worden.
