Die Baustelle befindet sich am südlichen Ortsrand der Stadt Sangerhausen, in südlicher Richtung angrenzend an ein paar Gewerbeeinheiten. In westlicher und nordöstlicher Richtung grenzen Wohngebiete, in nordwestlicher Richtung grenzen Kinder bzw. Schuleinrichtungen an die Baustelle an.
