Der Neubau des Rebstockbades in Frankfurt am Main ist das wichtigste Schwimmbadprojekt im Rahmen des Bäderkonzeptes Frankfurt 2025 und hat, neben seiner Funktion zur regionalen Versorgung der Stadt Frankfurt am Main, eine überregionale Strahlkraft in das Rhein-Main-Gebiet zum Ziel. Das Rebstockbad soll ein Vorzeigeprojekt in der Bäderlandschaft werden. Die weit gefächerten Bedürfnisse bei einem Badbesuch von sportlichen Aspekten über eine Möglichkeit zur Freizeitgestaltung mit Familie und Freunden bis hin zu gesundheits- und wellnessorientierten Angeboten - sollen sich im Profil des neuen Rebstockbades widerspiegeln. Über die Außenwirkung des Gebäudes hinaus ist vor allem die Attraktivität des Bades für die zukünftigen Nutzer vorrangiges Projektziel. Weitere zentrale Projektziele sind der energie- und ressourcenschonende, ökologische sowie ökonomische Bau- und Betriebsweise des Rebstockbades.
