Description
Der Auftragnehmer (AN) soll bis zu 532 Stk. Stromadapter (Cold Terminals) aus supraleitendem Material für den Betrieb im SIS100-Teilchenbeschleuniger bauen, welcher Bestandteil des internationalen FAIR-Projektes ist. Die Stromadapter sind Bestandteile von Stromzuführungen für SIS100-Korrekturmagnete. Sie sind für einen Betriebsstrom von 250 A ausgelegt und sollen bei einer Betriebstemperatur von ca. 4.5 K betrieben werden. Der Adapter verbindet die Stromzuführung aus Hochtemperatursupraleiter mit der Magnetspule, die aus einem NiTi-Draht gefertigt ist. Er besteht aus zwei Teilen, die mit einer dünnen Schicht Glasfaser-Komposit miteinander verklebt sind. Diese Schicht stellt eine thermische Ankopplung des stromführenden Teils an die Kühlleitung dar und isoliert es elektrisch gegen die Masse.
