Das AGAPLESION Diakonieklinikum Rotenburg ist ein konfessionelles Krankenhaus der Maximalversorgung in Niedersachsen und akademisches Lehrkrankenhaus der Medizinischen Fakultät der Universität Hamburg. Das Klinikum versorgt rund 32.000 vollstationäre und 640 teilstationäre und 127.000 ambulante Behandlungsfälle sowie 22.000 ambulante Notfälle pro Jahr. Dafür stehen rund 657 Betten in 23 Fachabteilungen zur Verfügung (siehe Bettenaufstellplan). 1.500 Kinder werden jedes Jahr im Diakonieklinikum geboren. Das AGAPLESION Diakonieklinikum Rotenburg ist auf zwei Liegenschaften verteilt: Einer der Liegenschaften - das "Diakonie-Krankenhaus" - befindet sich in der Stadt Rotenburg, Gemarkung Rotenburg, Flur 37. Der Hauptteil des Diakonieklinikums befindet sich auf der Gemarkung südlich der Lindenstraße, Flurstück 17/7.
