Az építési munkák összefoglaló leírása: A kerékpárút hossza: I sz. tengely: 216,16 m, II. sz. tengely: 73,49 m, III. sz. tengely: 1.286,35 m. Beruházással érintett teljes hossz: 1576 m. A kerékpárút a Baross Gábor utca szervízútján halad (az 5701 j. országos közúttal párhuzamosan), majd a Petőfi Sándor utca – Rákóczi Ferenc utcákban. A kerékpárút 3 szakaszra bontható. I. szakasz Baross Gábor utca szervízútja a meglevő kerékpárút vége – szervízút kicsatlakozása az országos közútra között Az út 3,50 m szélességben aszfalt burkolattal kerül kialakításra, egyoldali, 2,5 %-os oldaleséssel az országos közút irányába. Az ingatlanok felőli oldalon „K” szegély, az ellenkező oldalon 0,50 m széles stabilizált padka kerül kialakításra a tervezett burkolat mellett. II. szakasz Szervízút kicsatlakozás – Petőfi Sándor utca burkolat széle között Elválasztott gyalog és kerékpárút kerül kialakításra. A kerékpárút szélessége 2,00 m, a járda szélessége 1,50 m.
