FMV T&E Marin bedriver verksamhet längs Sveriges kust, där marina system och materiel främst provas och utvärderas på uppdrag av Försvarsmakten, men även för industrin och civila kunder. Upphandlingen syftar till att etablera en arbetsbåtsförmåga som kan stödja FMV T&E Marins verksamhet inom verifiering och validering av marina system. Arbetsbåten kommer att användas året runt i samband med provning, tester och övningsverksamhet och utgör därmed en viktig förutsättning för att kunna genomföra och upprätthålla denna verksamhet.
