Description générale La gare routière d'Ettiswil constitue un pôle d'échanges régional important pour les transports publics. Elle sert de point de correspondance et relie les lignes de bus en provenance de Lucerne, Sursee, Willisau et Dagmersellen. Cette gare routière se caractérise par sa situation au centre du village, sa connexion directe au réseau routier cantonal depuis quatre directions, l'exiguïté de l'espace disponible et une offre de bus adaptée aux différentes lignes avec une fréquence modérée (cadence à la demi-heure). Afin de répondre aux exigences futures liées à ce rôle de pôle d'échanges régional, la construction d'une nouvelle gare routière est prévue. Ce projet vise à valoriser l'espace central du village sur le plan urbanistique et à mettre en œuvre les dispositions légales relatives à l'égalité pour les personnes handicapées.
