Les travaux faisant l'objet de ce concours concernent le projet "NEB N13 Viabilità Bellinzona Sud – Riazzino", et plus précisément les interventions de réorganisation de la viabilité et de réfection de la superstructure routière le long de l'axe OFROU N13. Les interventions concernent le tronçon routier entre les km 205+500 et 210+450, y compris les carrefours 68 « Contone Est », 70 « Contone Ouest », 72 « Quartino Luserte », 74a « Quartino Pergola » et 74b « Quartino Campiscioni », ainsi que le giratoire Locarno-Aéroport (RLA).
