Description
L’EPFL, en collaboration avec l’Université de Genève (UNIGE), prévoit d’acquérir un nouveau système de pulvérisation cathodique dédié à la déposition de couches minces supraconductrices de haute qualité. L’équipement sera accueilli par le Centre de MicroNanotechnologie de l’EPFL (CMi). Le CMi est une installation centralisée dédiée à la micro/nano fabrication, centrale pour l’ensemble des facultés de l’EPFL, ouverte aux universités externes ainsi qu’aux industriels locaux (>600 utilisateurs actifs par an). Le nouvel équipement sera dédié à la recherche de pointe dans le domaine des détecteurs de photons uniques avec l’objectif de combler l’écart entre la fabrication à l’échelle laboratoire et celle à l’échelle industrielle en permettant la déposition sur plaques de diamètre 200 mm.
