Description
Tees, Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust (TEWV) provides crisis and urgent mental health services across Teesside through its Crisis Assessment Service, Assessment and Triage teams, Liaison Psychiatry, Street Triage and North and South Intensive Home Treatment Teams. Teesside Adult Mental Health crisis services would like to welcome bids from organisations to work in collaboration with the Teesside Crisis and Intensive home treatment teams to create a new non-clinical service which provides practical and emotional support for people who identify as being in crisis, but do not always require a clinical intervention. To ensure risk is managed appropriately and any immediate clinical needs are met, the new service will receive referrals from Urgent Care services and will be skilled in engaging individuals who traditionally struggle to access and engage with services.
