Toimeksiantoon kuuluu Liminka-Oulu kaksoisraiteen rakentamissuunnittelu välille Kempele-Oulu perustuen ratasuunnitelmaan. Suunnitteluun kuuluu mm.: - Uuden kaksoisraiteen radan geometria- ja rakennesuunnittelu välille Kempele-Oulu - Rakenteiden geotekninen suunnittelu - Rakenteiden kuivatussuunnittelu - Siltojen (7 kpl) rakentamissuunnittelu. - Rumpujen (25 kpl) rakentamissuunnittelu sis. tilapäisratkaisu esikuormituspenkereiden kohdalla - Alueen ympäristösuunnittelu (mm. melu- ja tärinäsuojaus, pohjavesi, happamat sulfaattimaat) - Vahvavirtasuunnittelu, joka sisältää valaistuksen ja vaihteenlämmitysten rakentamissuunnittelun. - Kempeleen liikennepaikan toisen laiturin suunnittelu. - Yhteensovitus turvalaitesuunnittelun, peltosalaojien muutossuunnitelmien ja lähijunaliikenteen asemien osalta.
