Die Wissenschaftsstandorte der Freien Universität Berlin verteilen sich auf vier große Campusbereiche in den Bezirken Zehlendorf-Steglitz und Wilmersdorf (Hauptcampus Dahlem, Campus Lankwitz, Campus Düppel, Botanischer Garten) mit rund 260 Gebäuden. Das Portfolio umfasst Liegenschaften unterschiedlicher Größe, Nutzung, Baujahre und Baustile (inkl. Denkmalschutz), die überwiegend als Sonderbauten (Hörsäle, Labore, Bibliotheken, Versammlungsstätten etc.) eingestuft sind. Im Rahmen des Gebäudeunterhalts benötigt die Freie Universität Berlin Fachplanungsleistungen für den vorbeugenden Brandschutz. Diese beziehen sich auf Teilleistungen der AHO Heft 17 (LPH 1-8), Regel- und besondere Leistungen.
