Description

Purpose The aim of the procurement is to enter into a contract for consultancy services for reviewing and mapping landslides and flood hazards in Rendalen municipality. Rendalen municipality needs updated and documented knowledge on landslides and flood hazards as a basis for safe area management, building application processing and stand-by. The municipality lacks necessary danger zone maps for flooding in the relevant waterways and there is a need for avalanche hazard assessments in several areas. In 2026, the municipality has received a grant of financial grants from the Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate (NVE) to carry out investigations of safety against avalanches in steep terrain in nine areas and danger zone mapping of floods in four waterways.
