Description
Background Arendal municipality shall enter into a new framework agreement for stone masses as the current contract expires in December 2026. The procurement shall ensure continuity in the deliveries for the municipality ́s ongoing operations, maintenance and investment projects. The municipality has a continual need for stone for different projects and sites, and the need varies in both extent and type. It is therefore important to establish a system that provides good delivery security, sufficient capacity and flexibility in the contract period. The new framework agreement shall also facilitate for better resource utilisation and increased reuse. The municipality would therefore like the contract to support handling clean rock masses for sorting and crushing for reuse, as well as receipt of asphalt flakes where appropriate and in accordance with the current requirements.
