Executarea lucrărilor de Tratamente bituminoase simple pe drumurile județene este necesară pentru asigurarea menținerii stării tehnice corespunzătoare a îmbrăcăminților rutiere și pentru prevenirea degradărilor majore care ar putea conduce la costuri mult mai ridicate de reabilitare. Tratamentele bituminoase reprezintă o metodă eficientă de întreținere periodică, având rolul de a proteja structura rutieră existentă, de a impermeabiliza stratul de uzură și de a îmbunătăți aderența și siguranța circulației. Acest tip de intervenție este esențial pentru încetinirea proceselor de degradare, cum ar fi apariția fisurilor, ravizarea, pierderea agregatelor sau infiltrarea apei în fundația drumului, factori care afectează durabilitatea și capacitatea portantă a sistemului rutier.
