Das Planungsgebiet umfasst den Bereich zwischen der Ortdurchfahrtsstraße "B286" und der Straße "Alter Dorfring". Der Ortskern mit der historischen Ortsstruktur aus den bestehenden Gassen "Ratsgasse", "Quellengasse", "Lindenstraße" und "Forellengasse" erweist sich auf Grund der engen Ortsbebauung als bautechnisch anspruchsvoll. Die Stadt Bad Kissingen als Baulastträger für die Kanalisation plant in Zusammenarbeit mit den Stadtwerken Bad Kissingen GmbH die Erneuerung / Sanierung der Kanalisation sowie der Wasser-, Strom- und Gasversorgung im Bereich des Ortskerns.
