Description
Waterschap Vallei en Veluwe is voornemens om graafwerende maatregelen tegen bevers te treffen op trajecten van de IJsseldijk waar binnen 30m afstand van de dijk openwater aanwezig is. Aanleiding is de aanwezigheid van bevers en daarmee het risico op verzwakking van de waterkeringen door graafschade, wat de waterveiligheid in gevaar brengt. Begin 2026 is gestart met diverse bureaustudies op het gebied van natuurwaarden, archeologie, ontplofbare oorlogsresten en mileuhygiënische bodemkwaliteit. In 2027 krijgt dit vervolg in de vorm van nadere soortenonderzoeken op basis van de resultaten van de uitgevoerde quick-scan. 12,7km IJsseldijk, breedte onderzoekszone 50m (voorlandbegrenzing primaire waterkering)
