Liikenne- ja viestintävirasto Traficom (jatkossa myös "Traficom" tai "hankintayksikkö") on Liikenne- ja viestintäministeriön hallinnonalalla toimiva keskushallinnon virasto. Traficom on palveleva liikenteen ja viestinnän lupa-, rekisteri- ja valvontaviranomainen. Virasto edistää liikennejärjestelmän toimivuutta ja turvallisuutta sekä vauhdittaa digiyhteiskunnan kehittymistä. Se tukee kestävää kehitystä ja huolehtii, että Suomessa on käytettävissä laadukkaat, turvalliset ja kohtuuhintaiset viestintäyhteydet ja -palvelut.
