Die Stadt Burghausen plant eine umfangreiche, hochwertige Neugestaltung der Frei- und Verkehrsanlagen in der Neustadt Burghausen, in Abschnitten der Badhöringer Straße, der Robert-Koch Straße und der Marktler-Straße, im erweiterten Umfeld des neuen Salzachzentrums. Ziel ist die Schaffung von neuen Aufenthaltsqualitäten in den Freiräumen, mit Aufwertung und Erweiterung von Grünflächen, Überarbeitung der Verkehrsführung, Errichtung neuer technischer Infrastrukturen einschließlich der Herstellung von Fernwärmeleitungen und Erstellung qualitativ hochwertiger Freiraumausstattungen.
