Nach dem E-Government-Gesetz sind alle Bundesbehörden ab dem 1. Januar 2020 verpflichtet, ihre Akten elektronisch - als sogenannte eAkten - zu führen. Dabei ist unter einer Akte eine logische Zusammenfassung sachlich zusammengehöriger und verfahrensgleicher Vorgänge zu verstehen. Alle aktenrelevanten Inhalte müssen elektronisch erfasst werden. Dies gilt sowohl für die Kernprozesse der jeweiligen Behörde als auch für die internen Verwaltungs-, Service- und Führungsprozesse. Mit dieser Markterkundung sollen Informationen zu marktverfügbaren Lösungen für die digitale Aktenführung gemäß eines Aktenplans, für gemeinsame Vorgangs- und Dokumentenbearbeitung entlang konfigurierbarer Prozess-Schritte sowie revisionssichere Speicherung und Ablage von Dokumenten gewonnen werden.
