The Norwegian Police Shared Services has the task of establishing a national shipping company for the police. This includes i.a. facilitating the procurement, management and operation of the police's vessels nationwide. A general and provisional orientation is thus being carried out in the market, where updated information is sought, among other things, on the availability of different boats. Furthermore, if there are or are expected delivery challenges for the industry as a result of, among other things, logistical, security or other external framework factors that can affect deliveries going forward. Primarily information is wanted about vessels that shall operate in protected to open but coastal waters. Furthermore, the police ́s need for vessels can vary depending on the area of use and operations.
